Solstis is building a guided health support station for college dorm rooms. It gives students step-by-step voice-guided help for common, non-emergency health concerns, provides access to basic supplies and OTC medication, and connects them to the right campus resources when they need more help. Units are rented through universities as an opt-in housing add-on paid for by parents through housing fees. Universities control distribution and reuse units each year, creating recurring revenue. Existing options each solve one piece: telehealth gives advice, first-aid kits give supplies, campus health centers give formal care. Solstis brings those together into one convenient, student-friendly experience inside the dorm.
Challenge
College students are on their own for the first time, but support for everyday health issues is not built for how they actually behave. When care is inconvenient, confusing, or unavailable after hours, students delay action, call home in panic, or seek more expensive care than they needed. Many are unsure what to use or what steps to take, so access to supplies alone does not solve the problem.
