Brainalyze

Brainalyze is a University spin-out built on 12+ years ($5M) of foundational research that is working at the intersection of AI, deeptech and healthcare. Brainalyze is building a new scalable, data-driven layer for dementia detection, diagnostics and monitoring using its patented AI-powered photonics-based liquid biopsy platform to detect early and differentiate multiple dementias from a single drop of blood in less than 5 minutes. This solution is underpinned by its reagent-free, one-step MX Raman™ technology that combines optical ‘fingerprinting’ with machine learning and uses our proprietary data moat that compounds with every new test. With $1.8M in current research grant funding, 600+ samples tested, biological signal established, 85-95+% diagnostic accuracy achieved and peer-reviewed papers, along with traction with customers & strategics, Brainalyze is now raising to accelerate US commercialization to address an immediately addressable $50B market.

Dementia diagnosis is late, costly, and often inaccurate, relying on imaging, invasive tests, and assessments that fail to distinguish disease types early, delaying treatment and care. Brainalyze addresses this gap with a rapid, scalable reagent-free AI-powered blood test. Target customers include diagnostic labs, neurology clinics, primary care networks, concierge providers, and pharma companies needing better tools for early detection, patient stratification, and clinical trial enrichment.
