A ticket to one of our evenings buys you a seat in a room where everyone was checked in at the door. Here's the full list, the things it doesn't buy, and how the price moves.
What the ticket buys
- The first hour at a table. Your city voted for the topic before the evening. You stay for the hour.
- The stage. Five founders, five minutes each, then questions from the room.
- The hour after. The floor stays open until close.
- A checked room. Every guest is checked in at the door and wears a role and an ask.
- Your city's community space (In beta). The invitation arrives with the ticket and opens in Slack, in the browser or in Telegram. Your profile, the chat for that evening and a recap of who you met live there.
What no ticket buys
- An investor in the room. Some evenings there are several. We never promise it, and we won't say in advance who's coming, because we don't know.
- A place on stage. Pitching is by application, and a person reads every one.
- An introduction. Introductions happen afterwards, when a company fits and both sides want one. We make them, and we take no percentage of any deal.
- The things we're still building. Deal Flow, the founder knowledge base and the request bank are (In development). None of them is part of a ticket today.
How the price moves
Each evening has a short ladder of prices. This is the one listed for San Francisco on October 21:
| Tier | Price |
|---|---|
| Early Bird | $10 |
| Standard | $19.90 |
| Last Week | $23 |
| Free | $0 |
| Investor | $0, by approval |
The paid price steps up as the evening gets closer. Other cities list different prices, and the event page always shows today's. Free seats are limited. Most seats are paid, because it takes work and money to bring the right people into one room, rather than run an open meetup for anyone.
Where you buy, and refunds
Each evening is sold in one place, Eventbrite or Luma. The button on the event page takes you there, and your confirmation comes from there. Refunds follow the terms on that ticket page.
