Our New York record starts on a Wednesday in the middle of Tech Week and runs to the last day of September: nine evenings, all on Wednesdays, in five rooms. It is a thin record. One evening has a company's name on it. Eight have a date and a place.

It started inside Tech Week
Tech Week ran in New York from June 1 to 7. Our first evening on the record was on June 3, at Continental Sports Lounge, under the name New York Tech Week: Networking Event. We stayed in that room for the next two, on June 10 and June 24.
Five rooms in four months
After June the address changed almost every time. July 8 was at Sugar Mouse, July 22 at St. Pat's Bar & Grill, August 5 back at Sugar Mouse. August 19 and September 16 were at A to Z Rooftop on Fifth, and September 30 was at Harlem Hops Chelsea. That is the stretch the fall schedule answers: from October 14 every date is in one room, American Whiskey on West 30th Street.
August 5: the one name
Stardome DBA Mothership pitched at Sugar Mouse on August 5, at an evening that ran as AI & Tech Networking. It's a seed-stage company building one app for AI creation and work, and it is the only company our record places in a New York room. The evening's page →
What changed on September 30
Until then our New York evenings ran under other names: five as AI & Tech Networking, one under a Tech Week name, one as a mixer for founders, investors and talent, and one as Investor Connect. September 30 was the first to run as Startup Pitch: 5 Founders on Stage, which is the format of every date ahead. Its page doesn't list who took the five seats.
What's missing
- Photographs from the room. None of the nine evenings has any on its page.
- Names. Eight of nine evenings have no company on the record, including the one that ran as a pitch night.
- Head counts. We publish a number only when it comes from the check-in list, and none has been published for New York.
